The Port Aransas Community Theatre is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the cultural life of the Texas Coastal Bend area. PACT's Board of Directors comprises individuals who are dedicated to the organization’s mission.

Interested in becoming a PACT Board Member?

PACT is currently is looking for new people to join our board! As a member of The Board of Directors, you will support the work of the Port Aransas Community Theatre and provide mission-based leadership and strategic governance.

Board Member Responsibilities

Regularly attend and actively participate in monthly board meetings.
Actively participate in at least one committee assignment.
Provide advice and recommendations to the Board and its Committees according to individual areas of knowledge, skills, abilities and experience.
Understand and promote PACT's mission, goals and objectives to increase public awareness, understanding and support of the organization.
Volunteer at productions (concessions, box office, productions, etc.).
Actively work to sustain and grow the organization by donating resources, knowledge, skills and time.
Become a paid member of PACT.
Serve a minimum of one three-year term. Eligible to serve two more three-year terms if re-elected.

Election Process

PACT Board Members are elected by PACT members. Members will vote from Sept. 15 - 20, 2023.

Board Members will be announced before PACT's membership meeting brunch, to be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday Sept. 24, 2023.

Eligibility

Individuals who are have paid their 2023 membership dues by Sept. 9, 2023, are eligible to apply to be a board member.

Become a PACT Member

Although it is not a requirement, Individuals with the following experience are encouraged to apply:

Nonprofit boards and finances.
Business management.
Experience onstage or backstage.
