"Young Frankenstein" is a musical comedy adapted from Mel Brooks's 1974 film, which spoofs the classic horror story. The story follows Dr. Frederick Frankenstein, who inherits his infamous grandfather's estate in Transylvania and reluctantly embraces his family's legacy. With the help of his hunchbacked assistant Igor and buxom lab assistant Inga, Frederick attempts to reanimate a corpse, with hilarious and monstrous consequences. The musical features a host of memorable characters, including Frederick's eccentric fiancee Elizabeth, the stern housekeeper Frau Blücher, and the misunderstood Monster.
